 8. Place the template into the oral cavity and verify for stability & retention. Take a preoperative radiograph for evaluation. |
 9. Radiograph indicates positioning, vertical height of bone & tissue, and magnification rate. |
 10. Bone exposure of the edentulous ridge by incision and retraction of soft tissues. |
 11. Place the template back into the oral cavity and prepare the osseous with a pilot drill to the desired depth. |
