 12. Place the template into the oral cavity and verify for stability & retention. Take a pre-op radiograph if desired. |
 13. Bone exposure of the edentulous ridge by incision and retraction of soft tissue. |
 14. Place the template back into the oral cavity and prepare the osseous site with a pilot drill to the desired depth. |
 15. Radiograph of depth gauge indicates ideal angulations and depth for the prepared osteotomy. |
