Dr. Scott Keith received his DDS with honors from the University of Calfornia, San Francisco. He then completed specialty training in Prosthodontics at the Baylor College of Dentistry and also earned a Master of Science degree in Oral Biology.
Dr. Keith has published several articles and has presented his research into dental implants internationally. In June of 1998, Dr. Keith's work won the ITI Research Competition for his presentation at the ITI World Symposium in Boston. Dr. Keith was awarded a prestigious fellowship by the International Team of Oral Implantology to further his training at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he also maintained a faculty appointment teaching at the pre-doctoral and graduate levels.
A board-certified fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists, Dr. Keith is also a member of Academy of Osseointegration, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and other professional organizations. Currrently, Dr. Keith maintains a private practice with offices in San Francisco and Walnut Creek, California.
1. Survey and prepare the patient's cast using a Ø2.3mm drill bit (included) w/ a drill press (available from local hardware stores).
2. Insert a 2.3mmØ X 20mm guide pin (included) halfway into prepared site to get a desired drilling trajectory. Secure the guide pin w/ super glue or wax.
3. Place template over guide pin to verify coverage.
